This morning we retraced our steps back to where we had got on the Metro the previous evening. We had finally mastered the buying of tickets and how the Metro System worked.

Todays Route. A bit different to start today as we walked through Eucalyptus woods which made a nice change. We then joined the coast path in Vila do Conde.

We are settling into a routine of having a coffee stop mid morning. The coffee is a generally very cheap, especially compared to the UK. 3 coffees and some little biscuits were about the same as a Costa coffee.
The sea was really rough. Far too dangerous for a swim, although we did see some surfers later on.

The Scallop shell is everywhere. On the door handle and the mermaids necklace amongst others.
We finished the day at a rather nice hotel; the Axis Vermar. This is the view from our balcony. Angela and I had a swim and it was freezing!
